A Johnston Therapy, PLLC is a collaborative team of mental health professionals dedicated to providing high-quality individual therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Our therapists integrate traditional psycho-therapeutic approaches and specialize in treating complex trauma, co-dependency, work stress, life transitions, family conflict, depression, anxiety, parenting challenges, relationship issues, and more.

We have developed a practice model specifically for clinically strong, growth-oriented therapists who want to provide high-quality care without compromising their own well-being. By removing the burdens of referral chasing and excessive administrative tasks, we ensure our therapists can focus on what matters most, our clients.
Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality individual therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and couples.

Integrate traditional psycho-therapeutic approaches to treat complex trauma, anxiety, and depression.

Maintain a growth-oriented mindset focused on clinical excellence and client care.

Utilize on-site facilities in Grand Forks for all in-person and telehealth sessions.

Collaborate with a team of professionals while maintaining full clinical autonomy.

What We Offer

A 4-day work week, providing a 3-day weekend every week.

Annual compensation reaching up to $65,000.

Administrative support (scheduling, billing, insurance processing, collection and client facing documentation)

Work Location
All therapy conducted either in-person or via telehealth from our Grand Forks office. Therapists are required to complete all sessions on-site.
Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university.

Current North Dakota LMSW licensure in good standing with the NDBSWE.

Active and continuous professional liability insurance.

Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Commitment to cultural competence and an inclusive, non-judgmental approach.

Organizational and time management capabilities.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Skilled in client motivation and efficient resource coordination.

Strict adherence to privacy standards and clinical confidentiality.

Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, families, and staff
