Christina is from a small town in rural North Dakota. She received her Master’s Degree with an emphasis in Sociology from the University of North Dakota in 2009.
Christina has 15 years of experience in public service. Her career has involved serving people from all walks of life by helping them find jobs, succeed through college, and access many other services. Christina has also done lots of volunteering for social activities for the Greater Grand Forks community, including visiting with the Veterans of North Dakota for the Veterans History Project, coaching for Sunflake Soccer, and coaching youth in First Lego League robotics teams. She was the president of the North Dakota Eligibility Worker Association, and she served on the board of Cafe Hygge. Christina is a long-term member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a current board member of the Dakota Science Center.
Christina has three grown children and a fun husband at home. She continues to give back to the community in various ways.
